In this one off class you will learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine along with the basic stitching techniques. This session can be tailored to your individual requirements. This course will provide you with the confidence needed to happily use your sewing machine for future projects.

The topics we aim to cover in this lesson:

• How to thread the machine

• How to wind on the bobbin and insert the bobbin into the machine

• Practice stitching straight, curves and corners

• ZigZag stitches

• Understanding tension

• Machine feet and how to use them

• Sewing seams and top stitching

You should bring your own sewing machine if you have one, if you have not yet purchased one I can provide one for use on the day.
