Learn to ‘draw’ with your sewing machine. During this workshop you’ll discover how to create fabric by building up layers of textiles to create a finished fabric that you can then use in a variety of ways.

You will design and create a finished pieces of textile art approx 12” that you can mount as a picture, turn into a cushion or bag.

This workshop will give you the skills that you can build on to create your own textiles from scraps of fabrics.

Materials Included: Fabrics, Felts, Threads, Wadding.

You will need a sewing machine that has the ability to drop the feed dogs or has a darning plate plus a free motion foot. If you are not sure about your machine or need any advice please contact me.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a beginner’s workshop. If you already know your way around the sewing machine, feel comfortable using it, threading, loading the bobbin, then this class is for you.

I have a limited number of sewing machines available so if you need to borrow one please let me know.
